The Linos Piano Trio thoroughly enjoyed their first visit to Trinity Laban Conservatoire in November as Ensemble-in-Residence. They return on Friday 23rd March to give another enticing lunchtime recital in the chapel, featuring two arrangements of orchestral works. They will then work collectively with students to explore both the rewards as well as the challenges of transcribing orchestral works for piano trio. As part of this post concert workshop, the Linos Piano Trio will share examples of their approach to re-imagining orchestral colours in Debussy, Ravel, and Dukas. The day will end with a series of masterclasses. Read more
