The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet’s latest release for Chandos Records comes up in conversation with presenter and composer John Brunning, in this month’s Classical Music Magazine.

Elegy for Four Guitars, written by John Brunning for the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet, will be heard for the very first time when it is played on Classic FM on Sunday morning. It will be featured on the Bill Turnbull programme at around 11.30am.
Aspects portrays the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet’s love of musical diversity. It is a collection of music that observes a startling variety of perspective and which reflects the group’s ability to craft an emotive and diverse musical tapestry.
The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet are at the Albert Hall on 20th September, as part of the star-studded Classic FM Live concert. The line up for the evening also includes Academy of St Martin in the Fields, Maxim Vengerov, Wayne Marshall and Laura Wright.
