The Linos Piano Trio will perform at the Barnes Music Festival for the second year in a row, giving a concert on Wednesday 11th March at St Mary’s Church, Barnes.
This year’s Barnes Music Festival is programmed around the theme of “Musical Journeys – a voyage of discoveries”, and the Linos Piano Trio features as part of a world-class line-up including Roderick Williams, Stephen Isserlis, Hugo Ticciati & O/Modernt, Jane Glover, Howard Goodall, Alistair McGowan and Charlotte Page.
In keeping with the festival’s theme “Music and Invention” the Linos Piano Trio take their ‘Re-inventing the Piano Trio’ programme to Barnes Music Festival on the 19th March at 7:30 pm. First Prize and Audience Prize winner of the Melbourne International Chamber Music Competition 2015, the Linos Piano Trio is increasingly recognised as one of Europe’s most creative and dynamic trios. Drawing on the rich and varied cultural and musical backgrounds of its members, which encompass five nationalities, the Linos Piano Trio possesses a colourful and distinctive musical voice, as will be apparent in this fascinating and highly enjoyable concert.
