On Monday 2nd September, Hiroaki Takenouchi will give a lunchtime piano recital at St Lawrence Jewry in London. He will be performing four works by Mozart in preparation for his visit to South Africa later in the month.

The recital offers a great opportunity to hear Hiroaki playing Mozart closer to home, before he embarks on a full cycle of Mozart Sonatas at the Gauteng International Music Festival in Pretoria. He will also be playing two Mozart piano concertos as a soloist with the Gauteng Philharmonic Orchestra, in Pretoria’s Brooklyn Theatre.

His programme at St Lawrence Jewry will include Mozart’s Sonata no. 14 in C minor, K. 457, as well as three other solo piano works which will be featured amongst the Sonatas during the South Africa cycle.
