Rachel Roberts Professor of Viola at Music à Fláine  13 -26 August 2016

This August Rachel will travel to Fláine in the stunning Haute-Savoie region of the French Alps nestling at the summit of the spectacular Grand Massif, to teach at the town’s prestigious summer music course as visiting professor of viola.

Held in the magnificent Fláine International Music Academy, Music à Fláine welcomes around eighty advanced students, mostly young adults, who take part in a range of chamber music workshops, coaching sessions and concerts. Rachel looks forward to working with them. Other visiting professors include two former members of the Ysaÿe Quartet, violinists Mihaela Martin and Christophe Poiget, cellist Frans Helmerson and pianist Jean-Claude Pennetier.
