Curated by the acclaimed guitarist and close friend of Dyens, Elena Papandreou, the evening is the first in a pair of events honouring the composer’s legacy as part of the Athens Megaron’s ‘Viva La France!’ season.

On Saturday 10th February, starting at 8.30pm in the Dimitris Mitropoulos Hall, the Aquarelle Guitar Quartet will play:

Fans of the ensemble will recognise Bresils from the group’s Chandos recording ‘Spirit of Brazil’.
The Aquarelle Guitar Quartet will also be playing two of these pieces (Filmaginaires and Comme un Rond D’eau) when they appear at Buxton Fetival here in the UK on 12th July at 11.30am.
In the second concert Elena herself will be performing Concerto Métis; Duo Melis will play Concertomaggio for 2 guitars and string orchestra in the same programme which takes place on 17th March at 8.30pm. Details
