Those who were lucky enough to hear the fabulous Solem Quartet perform at Wigmore Hall last July will remember their sizzling account of Bartók’s Quartet no. 4. Nothing can replace being in the concert hall as a member of the audience, but this video of the fifth movement immediately demonstrates why this award-winning, vibrant string quartet has developed such a strong following. We are also delighted to be able to bring you their recording of the Allegro molto from Beethoven String Quartet in C major, op. 59, no. 3, Razumovsky.

The quartet is excited to have been privately commissioned to undertake a complete Beethoven and Bartok cycle, which will start in 2020 and take place in London and Aberystwyth over a three-year period.
